Onderzoek naar Mensen die Thuis Verlaten
(‘Research on People leaving their Home’) This project displays the reasons for someone to leave their home country, whilst showing the socio-economic differences within our world. The book ends with a map of the, according to ‘official statements’, ‘Perfect World to live in’. See more

De Gelukzoeker
(‘The Fortune-Hunter’) For this book I went to visit a refugee center in Groningen to interview refugees from Syria. In De Gelukzoeker their stories are printed on a see-through page to be put into contrast with negative opinions and statements about refugees found on social media.

Heel Makkelijk in Verschillende Standjes
(‘Easy in Different Positions’) A homage to- and a critical view on the Red Light District in Groningen, the Netherlands. Designed and produced together with designers Janneke Hoek and Jochem Koopman.The book consists of interviews with inhabitants of the neighbourhood, photos of the district, reviews of the women working (found on Hookers.nl) and newspaper articles about the history of the neighbourhood.
